Love by the Coke Machine

Danielle and Jared met at Jose Luis Salon, which is on the first floor of the building where Jared works. Jared had started having his haircut at the salon several months before, and noticed Danielle while going to the coke machine one morning. Needless to say, Jared’s consumption of Diet Coke quickly increased far beyond daily recommended dosages. When Jared came in for an appointment one day, Danielle touched his arm and asked if he wanted something to drink, and that was it! His heart raced! After several months of flirting and teasing, the two met for their first date over Miller Lite and a Jack Daniels neat at The Tavern, and thus began their love story.
Jared and Danielle and had been talking of marriage and their lives together for several months. After several weeks of ring shopping, and with cut, clarity and color overload, Jared decided upon a setting and diamond. He decided to surprise Danielle with a trip to Mexico for the proposal. Following many hilarious incidents with planning and traveling, the couple arrived in Mexico. On a quaint Cliffside deck overlooking the bay, with the waves below creating a light ocean spray up into the air as they hit the rocks below, Jared proposed. “I smoothly reached into my pocket for the ring and took her hand while saying some incredibly thoughtful and romantic things, and she said, “Yes,” laughs Jared!
Danielle works with many great women that all played an important role in planning the wedding. Her mother and mother-in-law were her emotional support through the entire process. “Planning was very easy for me because I am not picky,” laughs Danielle. “”Anytime there was a suggestion made, I said, “perfect!” Danielle and Jared chose L Andrew Sterling with Sterling images for their photographer because of his creativity and simply incredible work.
Dr. Gus Browning performed the ceremony. “He was amazing,” said Danielle. Because music is very important to Jared and Danielle, they spent lots of time selecting the music for their ceremony. While people were arriving for the cocktail hour, Phillip Morrow songwriter/guitarist played Jack Johnson, Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, Jason Mraz, as well as some of his own music.
Jared and Danielle love to entertain, so the reception was their favorite part of the day. The DJ, Ross Phillips, with Look No Further Entertainment, played music that they loved, and possibly music only the newlyweds knew, but wanted everyone to experience.
It was a night wedding and the lighting was perfect. Everyone danced the evening away on the deck off the back of the house.
The honeymoon was a complete surprise to Danielle. “We spent one night in LA and had dinner at Mr. Chow, right next to La Toya Jackson,” said Danielle! “It was so cool!” The happy couple boarded a plane to Hawaii and that was when Danielle found out that Jared was taking her to Maui. The newlyweds spent five days in Hawaii, relaxing, looking back on their humorous meeting and courtship.
