Estate and Crystal Ballroom.

Built in 1878 by one of Taylor’s pioneers, John R. Hoxie. the mansion was originally part of a 5000 acre ranch known as flag springs ranch. Later in the early 1900's the renovated mansion became known by the local towns people as the Allison Mansion. Back in its day, The mansion was home to many parties and social events for the elite, and over the years many stories and tales about the house have been passed down from generation to generation. Before making the mansion their residence, the now owners celebrated their own wedding here. They decided to open up the property as a special occasion venue naming it “The Taylor Mansion”. Today, the “Neo Classical” style mansion sits on a total of fifty acres located approximately 25 miles north east of Austin, Texas.

The Taylor Mansion Estate offers an elegant setting to any wedding or event. large wrap around porches, Victorian accents, and the charming bricked patio under the lighted elm tree. The five acre outdoor venue gives your event a private peaceful countryside atmosphere with many event planning options.

Host your Reception or special event in our breathtaking Crystal Ball Room This all glass structure is accented with Swarowski chandelier, beaded swags , chiffon sheers, and twinkling lights providing an elegant and romantic atmosphere for any event. A open air, columned pavilion sits next t to the tranquil swimming pool, baby pool, and spa. surrounded by beautiful tropical landscaping, it is the perfect setting to host any pool side party or event.

The mansions elegant formal dining room is available for smaller luncheons, showers, or teas.

Bring your little belles and have their birthday party in the mansion. dress up in vintage gowns, dresses, gloves, hats, and jewelry. Create a craft in the attic playroom as a souvenir . Then have a real tea party with china and linens in the mansions formal dining room. The birthday girl receives a special token gift. You bring the belles we will do the rest.

What ever the occasion The Taylor Mansion Estate hopes to provide your event a memorablelocation and special memories that will last a lifetime.

Some important facts:

• Capacity: up to 200 people for tabled seating; or 350 stand-up cocktails/hors d’oeuvres.
• Hours: 11:00 am until 11;00 pm, Sunday - Saturday
• Duration: Facility provided for 5 hours; this includes set-up, event, and clean-up. Vendors may arrive up to 2 hours prior to reservedtime (florist, musicians, caterers, photographers).
   

Facilities:

• For Guest Our Beautiful Crystal Ball Room will seat up to 200, or for a cocktail reception 250.
• Round Tabled seating and ceremony chairs for 200 guest.
• Buffet, DJ, tables and cocktail bar tables provided.
• Complete set-up and break-down of tables and chairs. Linens placed if renting ours.
• 1200 sq. ft. open, pool side pavilion; Mini bar area with Gas/Charcoal grills, and refrigerator; stereo with surround System speakers. Beautifully landscaped swimming pool with multi colored lighting, fountain sprays and spillovers; baby pool, and 12 person spa tub.
• If swimming is desired, a certified life guard must be hired by client. We can help arrange for the life guard if needed.
• Package Bookings include a 2400 sq ft victorian peaked tent with lighting and sheered pole covers. A $1,500.00 value
• Use of MANSION, grounds, and porch for ceremony and photo opportunities.
• Brides changing room and bathroom available for bride Only. We ask that all others come dressed and Ready to go.
• 2 hour Ceremony rehearsal/walk-through schedule on a day the week of event
• Use of the MANSION for photo opportunities.
• Gift table, guest register table with linens provided. Portrait Easel available.
• Caterers use of kitchen area for staging only (Please read and have caterers review Policy and Guidelines found on our website).
• White linen package Rental with set up available for additional fee of $400.00 ( 120“ ROUND Table Cloths, buffet table cloths AND FOLDED NAPKINS for up to 150people).
